UPAOs play a crucial role in delivering services at the UP level. Dispute resolution through the Village Court VC system is one of these important services. To strengthen their understanding of the importance of a functional and compliant VC system, UPAOs were sensitized during their refresher training held at the National Institute of Local Government (NILG) on 28 October 2026. A total of 59 UPAOs participated in a two-hour briefing focusing on the importance of ensuring functional and compliant Village Courts at the UP level.
